Audiology Medical Services – Ireland’s leading independent audiology specialists – are opening a €500,000 state-of-the-art centre of excellence on Main Street in Carrigaline.
The clinic will open in September, creating up to 15 new jobs, with a further 15 expected to follow in the next 12-months. It will be equipped with the latest technology, including a specialist paediatric sound room – the only company in Ireland to offer such facilities.
Director of Audiology Medical Service Kay Lewis said: “We are thrilled to be opening up our latest clinic in Carrigaline and offering a full diagnostic, audiology service in such a thriving area. Our ethos is always to provide a professional service in a clinical setting, using the latest technology available. All our audiologists are fully trained and that training is continuous, so we can provide the latest solutions to any adult or child with a hearing loss.
“The Carrigaline premises is the 13th Audiology Medical Services clinic to open as part of our nationwide expansion and will offer the latest technology available. We are a family-owned and run business, with our head office based in Cork, and are very proud to be opening such a fantastic facility locally. The new clinic coming to Main Street, in Carrigaline, will be a centre of excellence for paediatric audiology services, with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Children will be cared for in multisensory sound rooms, providing the perfect environment to perform a battery of age-appropriate tests to check for hearing loss.
All adult audiology services will also be available, including: Comprehensive diagnostic hearing tests, ear wax removal, tinnitus management, hearing aid fitting and repairs.
