Network Cork Women In Leadership Executive Lunch
Cork Chamber and Network Cork will once again join forces for the Women in Leadership Executive Lunch which takes place on Friday September 29th between 12 – 3pm in the Clayton Hotel Cork City, (formerly the Clarion).
We are thrilled to have Caroline O’ Driscoll as the Keynote Speaker for the event.

Caroline is also one of the Co- Founders of the award winning not-for-profit programme I Wish (Inspiring Women In Stem). I Wish was born to inspire women in STEM to encourage girls to be anything they want to be and address the problems we are having at a time when female participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths remains at critically low levels. In 2015 I Wish was born and together with Gillian Keating of Ronan Daly Jermyn and Ruth Buckley of Cork City Hall and supported by local authorities, higher education industries and sponsors I Wish was unleashed to 1,000 girls in Cork City Hall. I Wish has since reached out to 7,000 transition year girls after rolling out the programme nationally. I Wish has an ambitious plan to increase this reach to over 12,000 girls by 2018 and they truly believe that Anything is possible for these young girls. Caroline and her fellow co-founders were recently awarded Cork Person Of the Month in March of this year. In 2015 she was awarded the Women Mean Business Empowering Women Award for her work in promoting women in STEM and in 2016 Caroline was awarded one of the Top 10 outstanding young people of Cork and progressed to be named as one of the top ten outstanding people in Ireland in the national finals.
Caroline is currently the Chairperson of IT@Cork the first ever female women to chair the board. IT@Cork is a leading not-for-profit independent business organisation representing the interests of the IT industry in the South of Ireland. It is a unique blend of indigenous and international IT professional, executives, multinational, government leaders, public sectors, academia, entrepreneur’s, investors and the legal and professional service community who join together to drive thought leadership, collaboration and global strategic alliances.
Caroline has spoken at many events from West Cork all the ways to the Web Summit and we are very excited to hear her inspire us and empower us to be leaders in our field.
Network Cork is affiliated to Network Ireland, a not for profit national organisation for women in business, the professions and the arts. It organises monthly events for members and guests which help inform, educate, motivate and support members, both personally and professionally. Members can develop and pool their individual skills through interaction with other women in a supportive environment which offers training, mentoring and support in an advisory capacity.
This lunch promises to be a must- attend networking event with a great mix of female leaders, Network Cork and Cork Chamber members
