Kinsale Macra man represents Seandún at Mr. Personality Festival!

Patrick Kelleher represented Seandún at the 19^th Annual Mr. Personality Festival which was organised by Kilkenny County Macra.

The festival will took place during the 10^th and 11^th of April.

The festival has been kindly sponsored by Kilkenny, Carlow and District Farm Relief Services.

Pa is 26 years old. He is an active member of Kinsale Macra and has listed the Carbery Macra Rally and placing 4^th in the Know Your Ag competition as some of his most memorable Macra moments.

His hobbies and interests include Farming, GAA, Machinery, keeping active, music, community and Macra. He is a man of many talents! Patrick believes he makes a good representative for Seandún because it would allow him to promote Macra and the rural community!

He is just after a hectic weekend! The contestants arrived in Kilkenny at 1:30pm on Friday the 10^th of April where they embarked on their first group activity of the weekend. One of the highlights of the festival each year is the on-stage interviews which kicked off at 7:00pm in The Ball Room, Langton’s Hotel.

The on-stage interviews were conducted by MC, Aindriú de Paor from 2FM, which meant it was full of laughs and fun-filled entertainment along the way. This was followed by music from the much-anticipated The Deere Johns and DJ until late.

This years judges included 2025 Rose of Tralee, Katelyn Cummins, Influencer, James Kavanagh and UCD assistant professor, Brian Leonard.

Patrick had an start on Saturday morning with contestants conducting private interviews with the judges. Once the interviews were finished, the contestant’s challenges saw Patrick being put through his paces!

On Saturday evening, Patrick donned his suit and meeting with Kilkenny, Carlow and District Farm Relief Services to have their official photos taken. This was followed by the banquet, starting at 7pm. Sweet Freedom played hit after hit, until Mr Personality 2026 was announced at 12 midnight.

Unfortunately, Pa lost out to Patrick Walton from Kilkenny Macra.
