This year, Ladies Day took place in Carrigaline Court Hotel on Saturday March 9th. Ladies Day originated in 2016 fundraising for Various Charities and local clubs each year. 2024 brought us to
Our 8th Ladies Day Lunch, another sell out day and it has gone from strength to strength with 350 Ladies coming along in top form and “turned out in the height of fashion” for such a glamours day.
The day is full of positivity and fun and coincides always in and around International Woman’s Day each year.
The committee, a group of nine hard working women, led by Chairperson Jane Manning, work for six months for what has been a seamless event every year. Carrigaline Court Hotel are a huge support and working with Jerry Healy and his team is always a pleasure. We also have and amazing main sponsor in Stephen McCarthy of Astra Construction Services.
The committee are genuinely blown away every year by the support of local businesses which Is absolutely phenomenon, with over 130 sponsors this year, we are so grateful.
To date we have raised almost €120000.00.
This year we raised €20500.00, and it was donated to Carrigaline First Responders and Carrigaline Musical Society.
In previous years we have also donated to Marymount Hospice, St Vincent De Paul, The Heart Angel, Féileacáin and local clubs including Carrigaline GAA, Carrigaline Rugby Club & Carrigaline Tidy Towns.
