Crosshaven man Bryan O’Connor has been called up to the Ireland Rugby U20’s squad for the World Cup.
The U20’s Rugby World Cup begins at the end of the month in France.
Bryan, a prop, played underage rugby with Crosshaven RFC, before moving to PBC Cork where he played both Junior and Senior Cup.
Bryan has already played for Ireland at U19 level and featured for Munster A earlier this season.
Bryan currently plays his club rugby with UCC.
The Irish side will get their World Cup campaign underway against the hosts on the opening day of the tournament. South Africa and Georgia are the other two teams that make up Pool C.
Best of luck Bryan.
