Douglas Community School booked their place in the FAI Schools Dr Tony O'Neil National Cup final on Thursday afternoon, with a 3-0 win over Summerhill College Sligo in Athlone.
Two goals from two Destiny Okonkwo and a strike from David Bosnjak goal sealed the semi final win for Kevin Ronayne’s team.
This result came just four days after they clinched the FAI Dr. Tony O'Neil Munster Cup against St. Francis College Rochestown. That day, it took a stunning strike from David Bosnjak to seperate in extra-time to separate the two schools.
The performances of the school have been praised by Norwich City striker Adam Idah, who's brother Brandon is in the squad.
Douglas Community School will now face St Eunan’s from Letterkenny in the final.
