Fundraiser Event For Richard Kiely Writes Jack White
A fundraiser event for Carrigaline man Richard Kiely will be held on the night of February 24th at Carrigaline Court Hotel. Richard was left paralysed after a motorbike accident in July 2016. Unfortunately he will be in a wheelchair for the rest of his days. Richard had to undergo major surgery in the Mater Hospital Spinal Unit and then endured a further 7 weeks recovery in CUH. He then went to the National Rehabilitation Hospital Dun Laoghaire for 12 weeks of treatment. He is now back living in Carrigaline with his partner Katie and little girl Lilly. Richard has lived in Carrigaline fir all of his 38 years. He is one of the local An Post Postal Operators for the last 19 years and is very well known and well thought of, in the community. Event organisers say that any help or support from the public would be greatly appreciated.
