Cork County Council at the recent Municipal District meeting announced Community and Amenity grants.
They included grants of €10,000 each for Carrigaline Community Complex, GAA and Soccer clubs. Carrigaline Tidy Towns €17,500, Badminton €5,000, Men’s Shed €3,600, Twinning Assoc. €1,300, Ladybirds €300, Athletic Club €900, Ladies Football €1,900. Residents Associations; Mount Rivers €1,600, Dún Eoin €700, and Heron’s Wood €800.
Crosshaven grants included Community Association €7,600, Tennis Club €3,900 and Tidy Towns €2,000. Crosshaven GAA and Rugby Club €10,000 each. Fountainstown Community Association €1,900 for defibrillator.
