On hand to make the medal presentation was club legend Orla Finn, who recently called time on her inter-county career. Acknowledging the club's importance, Orla said, 'If it weren't for my club, I wouldn't be where I am today. They gave me great encouragement and training, and it all starts with the club and finishes with the club.'

Indeed, Orla's contribution to Cork's success was recognised with a special presentation from the club's chairperson Catherine Murphy. Proceeding the acknowledgement of the prolific former All-Ireland winner, the U12, U14, U16 and minors were all presented with medals. In addition, several players were subsequently honoured for their performances.
