The Five Mile Inn may not be able to invite customers indoors, but it will offer some of its legendary comforts, with two pods.
Purchased from a manufacturer in Donegal, the unique facilities will protect patrons from the elements while adhering to social distancing rules. Set to reopen like many restaurants on June 7th, customers are expected to flock back to the popular venue for its extensive breakfast, lunch and evening menus.
Riverstick Netminder Set For Number One
AJ Nash, Riverstick, has signed with Cobh Ramblers U14 and hopes to line out in the number one jersey. AJ, who played for Kinsale, where he impressed, is looking forward to life in Ireland's top tier of underage football. Under no illusions of the challenges ahead, he brings with him a strong work ethic, demonstrated by two-weekly sessions in Dunmanway, specifically for goalkeepers.
As for the future, AJ is taking it one season at a time. However, he will continue to improve on his trade by observing the likes of Ederson, even if he is a United supporter.
