Gaelcholáiste Charraig Uí Leighin won their very first Munster football title last Friday, when they defeated Davis College Mallow 3-12 to 3-04.
The eight point win secured the Munster U19 E football title for the college in an entertaining final played on the 4G pitch at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
The final had originally been set to be played on Friday the 1st of February, but the recent bad weather had played havoc with the fixture.
In their route to the final, Gaelcholáiste Charraig Uí Leighin defeated Colaiste Daibheid Cork, Ennis Community College, and St. Patricks Comprehensive School Shannon.
