New Kinsale Town App Goes Live

Supporting The Business Community.

Ireland’s most enterprising town, Kinsale, is thrilled to now go live with a new town app as a follow on from the highly-acclaimed Doing Business In Kinsale project which has been underway for the last three years. This is a communication tool to help support the business community in its recovery program so the town can rejuvenate and network its business in a digital way.

Kinsale like every town in Ireland has been impacted by the pandemic and after extensive collaboration and survey research with all local stakeholders, groups and organisations the key theme for this year is resilience. Kinsale is the start of the world-famous Wild Atlantic way and Ireland’s most enterprising town so it is very fitting to now showcase enterprise in a digital way.

They are encouraging any entrepreneurs, start-ups and SME’s needing a boost to get in touch so they can feature case studies in their updates to help them. New innovative features and modules will be added shortly and they have already received a huge amount of app downloads.

The founder, accountant Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA MD of Fitzgerald & Partners, has teamed up with tech entrepreneur James Gale of Mova Ireland to bring this year’s version in a totally digital format in an innovative way and they have some further features in progress to make the app relevant to the ever-changing environment.

The new app will be useful for SME’s to network their businesses digitally and there will be push notifications for alerts etc.in the area. Please visit doingbusinessinkinsale.com or download the app free in the app store.

Fitzgerald & Partners specialise in working with SME’s providing advisory service in terms of Covid-19 supports and also in terms of Brexit advisory helping firms in both Ireland and the UK.

“We are thrilled with the app and would like to thank all of those who collaborated with us in this project in particular. It will be a useful digital communication tool to help in the recovery and rejuvenation of the town so that we can grow again in 2021 and beyond. We have some innovative new modules our technical team are working on. Our message is to keep going and stay safe. Economic recovery is linked to the path of the virus as such. SME’s need more help and support. Hopefully all the research relating to the forthcoming vaccination will produce results soon and allow a return to normality.” - Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA
