The newly opened Carrigaline Tyre Depot sees the well known Jonathan Sheehan, Martin O’Connor and Ger Cunningham continue to serve their valued and loyal customers at what was formerly Kevin Collins Tyres.
When Kevin Collins Tyres shut the doors just over a month ago, the three staff, Jonathan, Martin and Ger decided to become directors and re-open the business as their own and under a new name, Carrigaline Tyre Depot. Having run the business in the past, gaining valuable experience and building up a good relationship with customers, the three lads felt happy to take on the challenge of starting their own company, which opened for trade on Tuesday, April 7th.
Speaking about the new opening, Martin said, “When Kevin closed Kevin Collins Tyres we all ended on very good terms. He was great to work for and having been there for years we knew what lay ahead in opening our own business. We wish Kevin all the best for the future”.
With over 40 years experience between the three, the aim is to re-focus on tyres, offer a quick and efficient service and give excellent value for money. Initially, the diesel service available previously, will no longer be running. All major brands of tyres are available at Carrigaline Tyre Depot, including Bridgestone, Pirelli, Firestone and more. The lads believe strongly in not following the trend of importing cheap tyres and all tyres at Carrigaline Tyre Depot are CE Certified and available at unmatched prices.
