Shannen along with some of the Carrigaline Tidy Towns volunteers took a trip around Carrigaline to look at the amazing initiatives that the Tidy Towns have implemented, such as aiding biodiversity, education around climate action and horticulture and ensuring pollution and litter is cleaned up.
During Shannen's visit, she visited Potters Corner where Frank & Honest coffee grounds are being used to make rich compost in the flower bed. She then made her way through the polytunnel where fresh fruit and vegetables are being grown by volunteers, some of which have been involved in the organisation for over 25 years.
