2025 Community Partnership Grant Open For Applications

Applications for the Thermo Fisher Scientific 2025 Community Partnership Grant open for applications from Monday 6th October, until Friday October 31st 2025.


Since introducing the Grant in 2020, Thermo Fisher has provided €250,000 to support charities and community groups operating in Cork’s Lower Harbour area. 


Last year, 23 beneficiaries received funding, including Carrigaline Community School ‘Coffee Dock’ project and Scoil Bhríde ‘sensory garden’, along with other family and children resource groups,

community initiatives, educational groups and schools, sports groups, and tidy towns initiatives.

From Haulbowline Island Junior Park Run to Carrigaline Family Support Centre, the grant has reached a diverse range of groups and initiatives, bringing hope and inspiration to the community. 

Global life sciences company Thermo Fisher Scientific has been operating in Currabinny since 2019, developing and manufacturing active pharmaceutical ingredients of life-changing and, in some cases, life-saving medicines. 


They live their Mission, to enable their customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer, through the medicines, products, and services they provide to their customers, and through a wide variety of community programmes.
