The beloved Carrigaline & District Lions Club Cycle Classic returns this year on Saturday, September 27th, celebrating an incredible 34 years of cycling for a cause.
This annual event, firmly rooted in the community since 1991, has become a hallmark of charitable spirit and athletic fun—raising over €770,000 for a wide range of charities over the decades.

Cyclists of all levels will be thrilled with this year’s routes. Alongside the Classic’s signature 50Km and 100Km routes, 2025 brings a fresh twist: the debut of the brand-new 'Couch to Cycle' route. This scenic 30Km option is perfect for beginners or those looking to rekindle their love for the open road at a more relaxed pace. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just dusting off the bike for the first time in years, there's a route to match your rhythm.
This year’s Cycle Classic supports three outstanding beneficiaries, Cork Arc Cancer Support House, Marymount University Hospital & Hospice & Childhood Cancer Ireland
