Carrigaline teenager Kate McNally recently cut 14 inches of her hair to raise much needed money for Cancer Research & Cork ARC Cancer support.

In a heartwarming display of friendship and solidarity, Kate, a devoted friend, is spearheading a significant fundraising initiative to support Mary Kelly, the mother of her best friend, Lisa, who is currently undergoing intensive cancer treatment.

What began with a modest goal of €500 has blossomed into an extraordinary outpouring of generosity. Kate's initial aspirations have been surpassed, nearing the remarkable milestone of €10,000.
