Carrigaline Tennis Club Black Tie Ball

Carrigaline Tennis Club is nestled on the Ferney Road, behind the Carrigaline GAA pitches and beside the new Edmund Rice College. It is a thriving Tennis Club catering for all levels and ages, it currently boasts upwards on 250 adult members and has an equally strong junior membership. Since 1985, the Club has gone from strength to strength and now has a fantastic purpose-built clubhouse and 5 modern floodlit tennis courts which are the envy of most clubs in Cork.

Carrigaline Tennis Club are about to embark on a large fundraising event, a Black-Tie Fundraising Ball at the Carrigaline Court Hotel on the 2nd November 2019 to raise much needed funds for the upkeep and continued development of the club. The money raised will also allow the club to host international tennis events such as the ITF event successfully held during July this year and will also allow the Club to continue to build on their reputation as one of the best and friendliest tennis clubs in the County.

The Fundraising Committee of Louise Cogan, Fiona O’Donovan, Maria Marrinan and Donal Lennon have been working tirelessly since last June. To date they have secured the local Carrigaline Court Hotel, sponsorship for their pre-Dinner Gin Bar by the award winning Blackwater Distillery, pre-dinner entertainment by the one and only Velvin Lamont, famed for his appearance on The Voice followed by entertainment from the amazing Gemma & The Jets. There will be lots of fun guaranteed on the night, spot prizes galore, all donated very generously by many local businesses. On the night there will be also be a presentation for Best Dressed Lady. Carrigaline Tennis Club was very generously donated a signed authentic Lionel Messi Barca jersey and they will raffle this jersey on the night. (Tickets for the Messi jersey raffle are on sale at €20 per ticket and limited to 150, see posters and Carrigaline Tennis Club Facebook page for details).

Tickets for the Black-Tie event are already in high demand and at only €65 per person, offers a great night’s entertainment along with a mouth-watering five course meal. Tickets are currently on sale through the Carrigaline Tennis Club Facebook Page, but also through Fiona and Louise whose numbers are located on the various signs and posters located throughout Carrigaline.
