Cork road closures: All you need to know for rush hour traffic

On a Friday evening, there is nothing worse than when you are stuck in traffic on your way home from work.


With it being Valentines Day, and Munster Rugby and Cork City both playing at home this evening, we did a list of all the roads you might need to avoid to have a smooth and pleasant journey.

N8 Tivoli: Hard Shoulder closure in place from 0930hrs on Monday 10th of February until 1700hrs on Friday 14th of February 2020 to facilitate fencing works for Irish Rail (JN Cummins)


Little William Street: Give / Take in operation 1930-0600hrs to facilitate ESb duct installation works for the Windsor Inn Hotel (Townmore Construction)


Horgans Quay: Lane restriction in place 0930-1630hrs to facilitate slit trenches (Lagan Asphalt)


Monaghan Road: Stop/Go in operation 0930-1600hrs to facilitate ESB ducting works (ESB / David Nodwell )


Model Farm Road: Stop/Go in operation 0930-1600hrs to facilitate ESB Pole replacement works (TLI Group)
