Crosshaven – Carrigaline Credit Union Launch New Cultivate Loan

Crosshaven-Carrigaline Credit Union launched their new Cultivate Loan, created to support local farmers in the Carrigaline Court Hotel recently. 


Described as a “quick, simple, flexible, personal and local” loan option, farmers in Crosshaven, Tracton and Carrigaline can avail of a loan option of up to €75,000 over 10 years at 6.55%.

The loan option is delivered in conjunction with Collaborative

Finance, and is already available in over fifty Credit Unions since it launched in 2017. 

Joe Healy, Chair of Collaborative Finance and former IFA President, attended the launch. He spoke about the challenges facing farmers and gave a detailed discussion on the Credit Union’s new offering. CEO Theresea Conway was also in attendance.


Local farmers welcomed the new loan.
