Hunters Moon Theatre goes on tour with The Field

Following great successes with  Year of The Hiker, Big Maggie, Dancing at Lughnasa and Never Going Back There, Hunters moon Theatre begins its autumn tour of the John B. Keane play 'The Field.'

Carrigaline based Hunter Moon Theatre was founded in 2018 by Philip O Byrne and since then has toured widely throughout Munster with many Classic Irish plays including the Irish premiere of Never Going Back There. Previous venues include The Everyman Cork,  Grainstore Ballymaloe, St Johns Theatre Listowel, Carnegie Arts Centre Kenmare, Briery Gap Macroom, Marian Hall Ballinhassig, Cork Arts Theatre, Monkstown Golf Club and Community Hall Ringaskiddy.

This years tour will kick off at the Inkwell Theatre Minane Bridge on Sept 24^th to 27^th.

Set in the village of Carrigthomond, The Field is a powerful and compelling exploration of land, ownership, ambition and obsession.

When widow Maggie Butler puts her field up for public auction, the Bull McCabe is determined to secure the land he has rented and worked for the past five years.
