Cork City Council:
Title: Resident Engineer (3 Year Fixed Term Contract)
Salary: €62,983 ‐ €65,165
Qualification: Candidates must hold an honours degree in Engineering (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent professional qualification in engineering and have at least five years’ satisfactory experience of engineering work.
Duties: The Resident Engineer will perform a number of tasks including organising adequate supervision of construction works on the site and keeping a comprehensive diary constituting a detailed work history of construction work and significant happenings on site
Title: Senior Resident Engineer (3 Year Fixed Term Contract)
Salary: €83,116
Qualifications: Candidates must hold an honours degree in Engineering (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent professional qualification in engineering and have at least seven years’ satisfactory experience of engineering work.
Duties: The Senior Resident Engineer will be responsible for the on-site supervision of the construction stage of contracts and shall perform the duties allocated.
Cork County Council:
Title: Drivers
Salary: €633.94 – €637.27
Qualifications: Candidates must hold a current full European “C” Driving Licence free from endorsement with a current Driver Qualification Card (CPC) and hold a valid Safe Pass Card.
Duties: Successful candidates will be involved in the driving and/or operation of any plant including specialised plant in any part of the County under the direction of their assigned Yard.
Title: Beach Lifeguard
Salary: Senior Beach Guards will receive €15.50 basic per hour and Beach Guards: €13.58 basic per hour.
Qualifications: Candidates must hold hold a current valid Beach Lifeguard Award from the Irish Water Safety Association or equivalent by 20th April, 2020, have thorough knowledge of resuscitation including Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, and have good verbal communication skills.
Duties: The Beach Lifeguard must keep the area under observation constantly.
Title: Beach Lifeguard
Salary: Senior Beach Guards will receive €15.50 basic per hour and Beach Guards: €13.58 basic per hour.
Qualifications: Candidates must hold hold a current valid Beach Lifeguard Award from the Irish Water Safety Association or equivalent by 20th April, 2020, have thorough knowledge of resuscitation including Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, and have good verbal communication skills.
