Mystery Book Vending Machine in Carrigaline

Eve Lonergan

A new mystery book vending machine has opened in SuperValu shopping centre in Carrigaline.

If you’re stuck in a reading rut, or choosing a new novel seems like a chore, then why not let Book World’s newest installation choose one for you?

Everyone knows you can’t judge a book by its cover, and this new book vending machine allows you to keep the mystery alive.

The books inside are wrapped up, concealing the title and author’s name. Each one is labelled by genre, to ensure a romance lover will feel butterflies while reading, not accidental chills from a crime novel.

Bookworms will be delighted to hear that the books only cost €5 apiece, making the book vending machine an affordable option for your next read.

The Togher-based company launched its first book vending machine in the Marina Market back in July, and it has been a huge success with people eager to experience the mystery and joy of discovering new books.

You can check out the book vending machine for yourself in Barry Collins’ Supervalu shopping centre.
