He said: We would like to extend our thanks to our amazing volunteers and our event sponsors - Topper Technology International, Cork County Council, Ronstan, Rooster & Jones Engineering. We have approx. 100 and events of this magnitude would be impossible without this help and support.
We’d also like to thank Crosshaven Rugby Club, the many residents of Crosshaven have given use of their homes, in addition to the Carrigaline Court Hotel and UCC who have each provided accommodation for international competitors and their families.
Cllr. Audrey Buckley is looking forward to event. "It is such a great honour for Crosshaven Village to host such a prestigious event. The Topper Worlds 2023 hosted by the Royal Cork Yacht Club here in Crosshaven Village. It is an honour for me to deputise for the County Mayor Frank O Flynn, to officially open the event on July 26th.
With over 260 sailors competing in the event, it will be an amazing sight to see so many Toppers out in the harbour, and I am sure Camden will be the place to be to watch this event. To welcome such a large number of international guests to our lovely village. Which I may add the village is looking fantastic great credit is due to Crosshaven Development Committee and Tidy Towns. The Crosshaven knit and natters as always add their own special collage of hand knitted pieces.

Events like this not only showcase the fantastic facilities that we have here in our beautiful village Crosshaven, also at the RCYC, the oldest yacht club in the world."
Best of luck to all involved!
