Motorists are being warned of likely delays on the R600 between Kinsale and Cork city as resurfacing works get underway from Tuesday, April 7th to Friday, April 10th.
The work is taking place between Fivemilebridge and Pewterhole Cross, with the road closed between 8am and 6pm each day. Outside these hours, normal traffic flow will resume.
Diversions will be in place at both Fivemilebridge and Pewterhole Cross.
While specific arrangements for local traffic have not been confirmed, it is expected that motorists travelling through villages along the route, including Belgooly and Riverstick, will also need to follow diversion signage.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and plan journeys accordingly during the works.
