Carrigaline local Elaine O’Sullivan is one of 200 chosen from 38 countries to feature at the London Hat Week.

The mother of three - who owns and runs Panama & Pearl Millinery in the centre of Carrigaline - will be showcasing one of her finest creations this April in the Menier Gallery in London.
Elaine picked up the craft in 2016, and told Echo Live, how a night-course in CSN College of Further Education led to her reaching the peak of European millinery.
Over the last number of years, she has balanced her work, family life, and budding career as she undertook a business training programme through the WREN (Women’s Entrepreneurial Development Project) and SECAD In Midleton. She also completed a certificate in entrepreneurial development from Cork Institute of Technology.
London Hat Week will take place from the 16th to the 24th of April 2020, and in the meantime you can follow Elaine's designs and careers here.
