Good Fish Announce 20 News Jobs
Seafood processor ‘Good Fish’ has announced that they have plans to hire 20 more staff to join its ranks, for its two production facilities in Carrigaline. They made the decision to expand thanks to immense growth over past four years and are eyeing up even more export success.
The industry is experiencing strong growth – domestic and export sales increased by 13% and 19% respectively over the past year – and Good Fish is well positioned to continue this growth.
Increased demand in its own fish shops in the Cork area, a strong list of blue chip customers in the Irish and European retail and foodservice markets and a range of ‘on trend’ products have contributed to surging demand.
Founded 30 years ago by Denis Good the business has grown steadily by focusing on domestic market. With demand for high quality seafood ever growing Good Fish began exporting a number years ago in small volumes with an order book ever growing.

Good Fish has begun recruiting for fish filleters, trimmers, machine operators, line supervisors, stock controller, forklift drivers, truck drivers. Both full time and part time positions are available.
