Kinsale GAA – Winners Of Carroll’s Jersey Competition

Kinsale GAA-Winners Of Carroll’s Jersey Competition Carroll’s is delighted to announce that Kinsale GAA Under 14’s Girls are among the 25 winners of their jersey competition, which attracted hundreds of entries from across the country. The competition, which was created to celebrate 25 years of Carroll’s supporting Offaly GAA asked clubs/schools to simply describe why they deserve to win a set of jerseys. Mairead Mary Cronin from Cork entered a great story into the competition which got the attention of the judges and resulted in the team being awarded a free set of jerseys from Carroll’s. Carroll’s is Ireland’s favourite ham in both the Delicatessen and the pre-packed aisle *(Kantar, September 2015). What sets Carroll’s apart from the competition is that they continue to use traditional family recipes, that produce a Carroll’s ham which is carefully nurtured, hand-crafted using only the highest quality pork and slow cooked for a better taste. For the first time this year, Carroll’s is offering their delicious slow cooked ham for your Christmas dinner table. Slow cooked for 9 hours this succulent and tasty ham takes all the work out of making the Christmas dinner special, and can be ordered online at www.carrollcuisine.ie. Since 1991, when the GAA first allowed sponsorship of county shirts, Carroll’s was the first name on the famous Offaly green and gold shirts and it has remained there ever since making it one of the longest county shirt sponsorship in the history of the GAA. Speaking about the competition, Karen Hanley, Marketing Manager of Carroll’s said, “Everyone at Carroll’s is delighted to be able to reward GAA fans/teams across the country with a brand new set of jerseys. The judges had a difficult time picking the winners from the hundreds of entries received. This has been a fantastic platform for us to mark our 25 years of supporting Offaly GAA.” Carroll’s of Tullamore has grown from small beginnings as a local success to becoming a nationwide favourite. Established in 1979, Carroll’s takes great pride in its local roots and has been steeped in the GAA for 25 years in partnership with Offaly GAA.
